Partners Kristin Walles and Katie Wright have created a unique boutique: An all-natural curation of home goods and gifts handmade and Fairtrade. Kristin is a designer, most recently a line of leather clutch bags, while Katie does custom carpentry. This includes headboards, table tops, wall art, and hanging nightstands. They went to High School together and then spent time apart traveling and exploring life- many friends say that they can’t stay in one place too long. The boutique name comes from the biblical meaning of 8 being New Beginnings-and on its side-infinity. Along with their individual drifting – the name The 8th Drifter emerged. All of the items are made by artists they’ve met through their travels including Bali, Brooklyn and locally. Just walking through the doors transforms you to a tranquil remote island with the fresh smells and beautiful designs. Open days 9am-6pm and weekends till 7pm- stop by for a look and find the perfect gift for a friend or a treat for yourself.
