Located on the east of Napeague Harbor, going west on Rt. 27, turn right at the Hither Hills Racquet club onto Napeague Harbor Road. Continue over the railroad tracks straight to the end. Park your car here and take off on foot following the path to your right. Continue on this path and you will reach the dunes. The walking dunes are three large 100 foot high dunes which are slowly moving southeast that are part of Hither Hills State Park.
