Kathlene Trotter passed away on July 4, 2021 in Edmond, Oklahoma where she moved to in 2018. She was born in Stockton, California in 1969. Kathlene had lived in Montauk for several years before her move to Oklahoma and worked at Gosman’s and the Montauk Yacht Club. She was loved by everyone she knew and people often called her Mama Kass as she truly cared for others as though they were her family. She had so much love and shared it freely and was a well known and beloved presence in Montauk.
Kathlene enjoyed taking walks on the beach and throughout various trails around town. She felt at peace in nature and often talked about her desire to be one with the trees. She was a natural healer as well as a Certified Reiki Master. A very talented artist and writer, it was Kassie’s dream to grow her YouTube channel with the intention of using her life lessons to help others find their light. She was planning to live a simplistic life on the road and travel in nature for the rest of her days.
Kathlene is survived by her beloved partner Gerald King, her six children Victor, Arthur Denice, Gabriel, Kionna and Mikayla , her siblings Chris, Trecia and Alan as well as her many grandchildren whom she loved deeply. She shared a bond of Magic and Spirituality with Sequoiah and Aidan which will most certainly live on in their hearts forever. Kathlene was cremated in Oklahoma and will have her ashes spread by her family so that she may return to Nature as she wished.
