Animals of the Month
Derrick: Derrick is a handsome, eight-year-old orange tabby who was adopted from ARF a few years ago and now finds himself back at the Adoption Center due to a family illness. Despite this setback, Derrick is a happy cat who is curious about anyone and anything new, and he will try to gain your attention by doing figure eights around your legs. ARF staff have quickly fallen in love with him all over again, but he needs you to help him find a new home.
Rocky: Ten-year-old Rocky spends his days assisting the staff in ARF’s medical wing. Rocky is the dog everyone needs – he’s had a tough life, but his tail is always wagging and he’s full of spunk & personality. Before Rocky arrived at ARF, he suffered from chronic dry eye that had been left untreated. As a result, he lost vision in both eyes. After undergoing surgery at ARF and receiving a halo to help him walk, this senior feels like a young pup again. He’s quickly adjusting to his halo, and the staff has dubbed him a “little angel”.

All ARF animals are vet checked, spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines.

A TRIBUTE TO PATSY TOPPING: When Patsy Topping moved from her family’s Swan Creek Horse Farm in Bridgehampton to South Carolina, she encountered a problem not seen the Hamptons for years – unaltered dogs producing unwanted puppies, year after year. In 2007, Patsy began working with ARF to rescue and transport abandoned dogs. Thousands of dogs owe their lives to Patsy, and they have filled thousands of homes with boundless love.
OVERLOOKED: A short film about the animals who finally found their forever homes in 2020 and the people whose lives they changed.
