Animals of the Month
PHOEBE: Phoebe was found as a stray this past fall, and even though she is extremely friendly, she has been overlooked by adopters. The cattery staff can’t believe she has not found her forever yet. She is ten-years-old, and she loves to be petted and brushed and will even help you with her grooming. Most days you will find her cuddled in her cat bed and fuzzy blanket. She would enjoy a home where she can peacefully snooze the day away.
SMUSHIE: This girl is a BIG mush, hence her name Smushie. She is a seven-year-old cuddly, love bug, who is a favorite among the ARF staff. She knows most of her basic commands, although her “down” is a bit unconventional, looking more like a frog than a dog. Smushie will need to be the only dog in the household, so that all the attention will be hers. She is housebroken and will have no problem adjusting to a new home. If love is what you want, Smushie is what you need.

The ARF Adoption Center is open by appointment and adoptions are now conducted by appointment only. Please start the process by completing an application online. At this time, the shelter remains closed to the public. Thank you for helping us keep our staff and animals safe and healthy.

Please join ARF in helping families in need in our community by donating unopened bags of cat and dog food (both wet and dry) and treats.

Drop off at the ARF Adoption Center: 124 Daniels Hole Road, East Hampton, NY
Only pet food will be accepted – please no towels and bedding. Social distancing will be observed, and we request visitors to ARF wear masks when dropping off food.

VIRTUAL DOG WALK
ARF’S STROLL TO THE SEA VIRTUAL DOG WALK
ARF is excited to announce that the ARF Stroll to the Sea Dog Walk is set for this October! However, the new reality is that we will not be able to gather in person at Mulford Farm in East Hampton for coffee and donuts, but you can still walk for ARF! The 2020 Dog Walk will be a virtual one, so you can join us no matter where you are. Take a walk to the ocean – or anywhere – and back to show your support for the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons and mark your participation on social media @arfhamptons.
Walk any day from Saturday, October 3 – Sunday, October 11.
