27tennis has announced the launch of a new public tennis club in Amagansett for the 2018 season. Located at the former Napeague Tennis Club location, 27tennis will offer private and group lessons to kids and adults of all ages, open court time, summer camp and junior and adult leagues, all at affordable rates. Launched by Neal Feinberg, a USPTA certified pro, the 27tennis facility offers four Har Tru courts and one Astro Turf court, two basketball courts, a newly renovated 1,450 square foot clubhouse with a lounge area and an outdoor patio area overlooking the courts, and a snack bar. 27tennis is located walking distance from the Napeague Jitney stop. The new 27tennis club promises competitive tennis with a relaxed, fun and social atmosphere for the 2018 season.
USTA Tournaments, Adidas Junior Camp & ClassPass For juniors ages 8-18, 27tennis offers over dozens of USTA Tournaments for all levels ranging from novice to advanced. 27tennis is the exclusive Long Island location for Adidas Junior Tennis Camp held weekdays 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. June 11th through August 31st and is the most affordable tennis camp anywhere in the Hamptons. For adults, ClassPass members can book clinics or court time up to three times per month for FREE. On Father’s Day, 27tennis will host two USTA tournaments: a Father-Daughter event and a Father-Son event. 27tennis will also host a weekly basketball pickup game every Sunday at 12pm June 11 – August 31.
Off-Site Services and Girls Tournament Training Boot Camp 27tennis pros will also offer private home court instruction in the Hamptons. Additionally, 27tennis provides travel coaches for juniors playing USTA tournaments who transport your child to each tournament, provide a warmup lesson, prepare them mentally and strategically, and analyze their match play. For girls ages 12-18, 27tennis offers a Girls Tournament Training Camp May 26 & 27, which immerses girls in two full days of drills and competition simulating college format led by Columbia University Women’s Coach, Ilene Weintraub.
Head Pro of Yorkville Tennis Club Heads East Neal Feinberg, who attended Northfield Mount Hermon School, where he played #1 singles, Columbia University, and Pace Law School, has coached high school teams for Horace Greeley and Columbia Prep. From 2009-2018 he was the head pro and club manager of Yorkville Tennis Club, where he created the most affordable and popular adult group tennis program in New York City for Tennis in Manhattan, a program now providing tennis instruction to over 18,000 participants. Neal currently coaches recreational players of all levels and ranked USTA tournament-level players.
27tennis is slated to open May 15th. 27tennis will be open 7 days a week May 15 – September 31 from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
