Sheri Miller sings a wide range of popular classic favorites, including songs by Patsy Cline, Judy Garland, and the Beatles, plus a selection of her soulful, Beatles-inspired love songs while accompanying herself on guitar and piano. Named one of Music Connection’s “Hot 100 Unsigned Artists,” Sheri frequently collaborates with a number of Grammy Award-winning songwriters.

When Superstorm Sandy struck on October 29, 2012, it unleashed catastrophic damage up and down the East Coast. In its wake, New Yorkers came together to rebuild. This open forum reflects on how communities were transformed by Sandy. Please join us to discuss your experiences during and after Sandy and what you believe we have learned about our relationship with the seas around us.

New York Blues Hall of Fame inductee, Marc Black’s musical tour takes us through two historically defining and diverse decades from Itsy Bitsy, Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka -Dot Bikini to Blowin’ in the Wind. Includes performance, slide show & sing along to take you back in time. The show also features a performance of his own group’s hit from 1967… “Happy” by the Blades of Grass.

Steinway artist, Carolyn Enger is known for presenting engaging programs. Whether playing music from today or centuries old, her concerts tell a story in a way to which audiences can relate. For example, The Mischlinge Exposé marries music from Mendelssohn to Bruce Adolphe with video interviews of her godmother and father who were Holocaust survivors. Her acclaimed American Miniatures series marries the stories of America in Copland’s Selected Miniatures, the personal stories in Ned Rorem’s Piano Album I, and Leonard Bernstein’s Selected Anniversaries.Her EP, The Mischlinge Exposé was released in 2016. Her 2013 Naxos recording of music by Ned Rorem was a New York Times Best Classical Recording, and Fanfare Magazine declared her “a musician of rare quality.” Music from her American Miniatures program can be heard on her debut release, In Evening Air, featuring the music of Beethoven, Copland, Hanson, Liebermann, Rorem, and Scriabin.
