i-tri Empowerment/Mentoring Day

ITRI EMPOWERMENT MENTORING DAY

On Saturday November 7th, i-tri will host its first annual Empowerment/Mentoring Day in East Hampton. The goal is to introduce the i-tri girls to extraordinary women who have achieved success in their adult lives and overcome challenges along the way. Theresa Roden expects to have 25 to 30 mentors at the event and says, “We are thrilled that so many are willing to give of themselves for an afternoon that will have lasting impact on the girls.”

All of the girls from all six seasons of i-tri are being invited to attend.  Noely Martinez, one of the alumnae who is now a paid coach, will introduce the event. Kathleen King, founder of Tate’s Bakeshop and creator of Tate’s Cookies, will do the keynote address, focusing on the theme of ‘resilience.’ The girls will then meet individually with the mentors around the room for seven-minute sessions to explain what they are passionate about and have the mentors share their wisdom.
