Animals of the Month
THYME: Two-year-old Thyme is one of the 14 cats that we now refer to as our “Thanksgiving” cats, rescued from a hoarding/eviction situation in Suffolk County. He is an extremely sweet and playful kitty who gets along well with other felines and enjoys basking in the sunlight. His unique brown coat is stunning and once you spend a little “Thyme” with him you will be in love.
DJ PAX: The saying “man’s best friend” had this adorable pup in mind. Three-year-old DJ Pax was adopted as a puppy, but recently found himself back at ARF when his family could no longer care for him. Fully grown at 30 lbs., DJ can be a bit anxious. He is an athletic dog who gets along with most other dogs and is known to shadow you everywhere you go – yes, everywhere you go. If you are running, traveling, or just chilling at home, DJ will stick by your side.
