The celebrants for the month of August were Thomas Butler, Renea Farr, Leon Day, Anne Shvedowsky and James (Buddy) Burke shown standing in front of a huge, delicious strawberry shortcake on August 30th. The rest of the Center’s participants sang Happy Birthday to them to celebrate the occasion. We missed you Tony Corvi. Please get well and come back real soon. Happy Birthday August babies! May you have many, many, more to come
Summer is winding down at the Senior Nutrition Center and soon snow birds will be going back to Florida to their second homes. One thing is for sure, precious memories of the good times spent together with friends through exercises, playing games and having delicious lunches and birthday celebrations will live on forever in everyone’s hearts, especially through the winter months.
If you’re 60 and over, won’t you join this energetic group for lunch from Monday to Friday? You will be served royally by hard working volunteers on real china and silverware and feel like a million bucks.
